Over the coming weeks, the European Poker Series have guaranteed a million Euro featuring a 200.000-Euro stop at the Poker Room Of Spa from the 12th of March and an 800.000-Euro edition at King's Resort Rozvadov a bit later from late April.
Packages for your accommodation are already selling well so get busy booking yours for the best possible E.P.S. experience. I will be attending both stops shooting photos and reporting about counts and updates on a daily basis. All info can be found on european-pokerseries.com and frequent updates and news are published on their Facebook page as well.
I still did not get the chance to fly home to Portugal over this early February. After the P.R.O.S. Benelux Championship, I decided to skip Dublin for personal and business reasons but only to stick to the Luxembourg and Spa area where I have been staying since my return from my 2-week Rozvadov stay for the Dutch Classic's and the Spanish Poker Festival.
This weekend, I will be back at the Poker Room Of Spa for the APAT Benelux Championship before finally finding my way back to the Portuguese Atlantic coast for late February and early March :) I will be back in Spa from tonight with a photo and cash game plan but I don't think I will get away these days without registering at least one tournament :)
The one-day tournament weekend starts tonight with the Thursday Night Fever (€1.500 GTD) as a warm up before the big action kicks off from tomorrow. The D4 Events Dublin Poker Festival (DPF) has begun last weekend and will be going on until the end of this week with the EDSPC Main Event coming up but I gotta skip this one unfortunately. Some business is keeping stuck in Luxembourg for a few days, so I will probably be back in Spa for the weekend where Leandro Gaone has put together a schedule of 4 1-day tournaments from Thursday to Sunday with a total of more than €20.000 GTD!!
Not sure I am going to play the small ones but, for sure, I am going to be more than happy to sit the Friday PLO cash game tables :) Also, watch out for a new tournament on Saturday with a bigger buy-in and a deeper structure and for a €10.000 guarantee in the Sunday special event of this week. All P.R.O.S. Poker info is available under pokerroomofspa.com. See you in Belgium again soon! Back in Belgium last week with a stop at the Poker Room Of Spa for their first festival of the year. 200 entries came together for the Main Event and almost as many photos are available online. All P.R.O.S. Poker info is displayed under pokerroomofspa.com.
You'll find my photos there as well as in my Flickr archive or on THE-ROUNDERdotnet Facebook page. I have been skipping the 2018 edition because somehow I got stuck in Portugal so I organised things differently this year. I'll travel to Portugal AFTER the Dublin Poker Festival :)
I will miss the first weekend featuring the smaller ACOP Event taking place while I will be attending the Benelux Festival at the Poker Room Of Spa after a long January stay in Rozvadov and before moving on to Ireland for the second part of the DPF 2019. While working on new communication development plans and playing cash games at the Poker Room Of Spa, I am obviously also shooting some photography recurrently.
You can find them on the P.R.O.S. website, on their Facebook page and on THE-ROUNDERdotnet Facebook HQ. My complete recent photo archive is hosted on Flickr if you like would to browse 20k photos from over the last 3 years ;)
Not a lot of action at the Poker lately for me. I have hardly played since the days before Christmas. Just a bit of online mtting and some live cash games and, so far, I am up this year :D
I'm back in Spa at the PROS for a bit this month and might hop around here for a while between in the BeNeLux area. Still have to make up my mind about SPF Rozvadov and the Dublin Poker Festival for later this month and February. I am about to leave my Estoril home to step on a taxi to Lisbon Airport. Tonight, I will be in Luxembourg for a few hours before moving on to Spa in Belgium to join the ranks of the PROS crew at the Casino de Spa.
A nice Main Event with a €25.000 GTD is awaiting for a buy-in of €250! All info you need is online HERE and find out about the PROS cash games under THIS ARTICLE we recently published. Photos of my last stops in Spa are online on my Flickr. Enjoy and see you soon in Belgium!
The 777 Kings Festival is over and we are back to business as usual at the Poker Room Of Spa with a bunch of regular events coming up until the Christmas Poker Festival. All Poker info is available under pokerroomofspa.com. We have set up a really nice new website with a complete calendar and I am providing a lot of photos too. Go have a look!
The photos archive of this festival is online HERE. Also, save the date for the next festival taking place just before Christmas. I will be back in Belgium for that one. See you in Spa! Two more days to go before the 777Kings Festival kicks off at the P.R.O.S. with a total of 7 Poker tournaments over the coming week featuring a €170 Main Event. All Info is available in the dedicated THE-ROUNDERdotnet article an on pokerroomofspa.com.
What's more, we will have the pleasure to welcome two special ambassadors for the occasion: Joselito Nalinnes coming to represent EPS & Poker Belgique and the winner of the last online contest with European Poker Series, Julien Michoel. After Madrid, I am enjoying the Portuguese November sun for a few days before making the first of my two December trips to Belgium. The destination is the Poker Room of Spa where two major Poker events will take place before the holidays. The first is the 777Kings Festival with 7 events on the menu featuring a €170 Main Event over 2 days.
Just before Christmas, the X-Mss festival will provide another 4-tournament event for the end of the year. All details are listed on the Poker Room of Spa website and will also find a full calendar with all regular events and cash game rendez-vous.
It's time to #punishthespanish again!! :D
I left Spa this morning after some photo reporting over the Roller Coaster Festival weekend days and I stayed one extra day to attend the Poker Room of Spa Monday Cash Game Night yesterday. I was able to book a positive session but my highlight of the weekend was my second place finish in the Chill Out event while I was still posting updates and shooting pictures of the final stages of the Main Event final table. Poker an easy game :) The CNP Estoril is come to an end last night with the last three win in the MAIN EVENT, the LIGA DO POQUER NACIONAL and the WIN THE BUTTON. All recaps are online on the Casino Estoril Poker Facebook page where I have published daily notes and photo albums.
I only arrived on Thursday but PokerPT was on the spot for the whole week providing a proper and extensive coverage including more photos and video content. Big up to Pedro for winning the Main Event!! He is clearly one of the ones on the good side of the Poker Force :) I met him in the 45°C heat of a caliente summer festival in Madrid during the summer of 2017. Since then, it's always a pleasure to cross his path. He bested a field of 149 entries with more than €14.5k on top! I have uploaded a photo archive of my stay at Casino Estoril last week for those who care. It can be found on my Flickr account.
The Poker Belgique Monster 2018 is over with a Main Event that gathered 835 entries and unstoppable champion, Sébastien Hetzel, who is just having an incredible end of 2018 at Poker Belgique since a few weeks.
My photo archive (+200 photos) is available on my Flickr account and you can view Jonathan Koszulap's coverage under www.pokerbelgique.be.
After a pleasant week in the Netherlands hopping from Holland Casino to Holland Casino in Breda, Amsterdam and Zandvoort where I enjoyed an almost 10-km on the autumn beaches [photos on my Flickr] on Wednesday, I made my way to Namur in Belgium for the PokerBelgique Monster Tournament finals over the weekend.
Last minute changes for this week! Although I decided to stop working as a #pokernamur reporter after the Namur MegaStack in September, I still intended to come over for the Oktoberfest this week to play cash games and shoot some photography for the Namur Poker room but the board took the bizarre last minute decision not to let me shoot at the casino anymore at all since I am not reporting officially for them.
As a result, I decided to enjoy my time on the BeNeLux roads this weekend starting with the Friday event at the Poker Room of Spa before moving on to the Breda Small Ball Series for the weekend. Off to Amsterdam from Sunday night or Monday morning after that before the Monster Tournament finals for PokerBelgique in Namur before a few days of family time in Luxembourg and I will be back in Belgium later in November as well for the #PROS Roller Coaster Festival after a short hop to Portugal for the CNP Estoril. > THE-ROUNDERdotnet on Facebook > Damian LIB on Instagram / Twitter If you enjoy Poker photography, there are roughly 800 photos online of my 12-day stay in Spa for the EPS this August. All photos are accessible via the PHOTOS & COVERAGES section of this site or in my Flickr archive.
Below, you can view the hall of fame with 8 winners of the offical EPS Spa events. GG to all the ITM players and see you soon on the circuit. > THE-ROUNDERdotnet on Facebook > Damian LIB on Instagram / Twitter The European Poker Series [EPS] Spa is on since the 8th of August and we have already 4 winners to celebrate after the win of Jérôme Sgorrano last night in the PLO event after a heads-up deal with Robert Auer.
Follow the action live under european-pokerseries.com and find my photos in the PHOTOS & COVERAGES section. We are a few days away from the kickoff of the European Poker Series in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes in Spa and things are slowly getting into good shape to welcome the first visitors from this Wednesday, 8th August.
EPS Spa is getting closer and closer and we are getting more and more excited! Today, we are happy to announce that we will be hosting 3 VIP cash game sessions with a streaming at the Casino de Spa. The dates are the 12th, the 15th and the 19th August and the games will be on from 2pm after a drink offered from 1pm.
The first European Poker series (EPS) is coming to Spa and the EPS delegation will be on the move with a caravan of ambassadors that have been helping to promote the event all around Europe since early 2018.
Wieder haben sich 6 Spieler im gestrigen Super Sat für die EPS Spa qualifiziert!
The European Poker Series (EPS) ambassadors are doing a great job promoting the Spa stop from 8th to 19th August on an international scale for two pleasant Poker weekends in the beautiful Belgian Ardennes. EPS, a genuine Poker festival ! The core idea of EPS is not just to offer a single main event with random side events around it over a few days but to establish a genuine festival atmosphere over 12 days of Poker day in day out with no less than 8 events and 15 satellites. Additionally, cash games will be open every day including 3 streamed VIP cash game sessions on the 12th, the 15th and the 19th August from 2pm.
The game will be an 8-max setup with minimum blinds of 10/20 in a NLH format (depending on agreements, players will be free to decide to add games or to raise the blinds over time). There’s is a list of interested participants so if you wish to get on it, we strongly encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible. |
